Album Notes & Community Reviews

Signed by Euronymous before his untimely death, the Japanese band's debut injected classical piano arrangements and funereal doom pacing into the rigid structures of early black metal. The highly unorthodox combination of thrash metal roots and symphonic grandiosity marked them immediately as one of the genre's most theatrical and experimental acts.
