ÁTTA

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'ÁTTA' marks the band's first studio album in a decade and the return of keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson, largely eschewing percussion for sparse, expansive compositions featuring the London Contemporary Orchestra. This shift towards an introverted and ambient sound, a notable departure from the industrial 'Kveikur', creates a work that is simultaneously beautiful and balming while colored by undercurrents of despair and desolation.
