Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured during a European tour promoting 'Secret South', this album showcases the Denver band's intensely brooding fusion of Appalachian folk instrumentation and post-punk aggression. Frontman David Eugene Edwards delivers a mesmerizing, physically demanding performance, channeling fire-and-brimstone theology through bandoneon and slide guitar. The concert highlights their unique ability to generate overwhelming gothic tension within traditional Americana forms.
