Album Notes & Community Reviews

An obscure but deeply revered artifact of early 1970s jazz fusion, this Los Angeles-based ensemble recorded their sole album for the German MPS label. The deeply rhythmic compositions eschew overt technical showmanship in favor of thick, hypnotic grooves, intricate electric piano textures, and subtle psychedelic rock influences. It stands as a brilliant, slightly hazy intersection of West Coast spiritual jazz and funk-driven rock.
