Album Notes & Community Reviews

As the first major-label release from the Seattle grunge scene, 'Louder Than Love' established Soundgarden's massive, Sabbath-indebted alternative metal sound. Kim Thayil's heavy, down-tuned riffing perfectly anchors Chris Cornell's soaring, highly passionate vocals, exploring raw themes of sexual hedonism and aggressive anger.
