Magic Fly

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Clad in astronaut helmets to obscure their identities, this French electronic outfit capitalized on the late-70s science fiction boom with this synthesizer-heavy dance record. Driven by tight, sequenced grooves and soaring electronic melodies, the title track became a massive international instrumental hit. The project was instrumental in divorcing disco from its traditional R&B roots, pushing it firmly into the synthetic, futuristic realm.
