Album Notes & Community Reviews

Abandoning rock guitars entirely, the Mael brothers enlisted legendary producer Giorgio Moroder to completely reinvent their eccentric pop sound for the dance floor. 'â„– 1 in Heaven' is a profoundly influential, fiercely energetic masterpiece of early electro-disco and synth-pop, filled with incredibly playful, highly melodic, and wonderfully futuristic dance rhythms.
