You Broke My Heart So I Busted Your Jaw

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking their highly publicized reunion, the band returned with a heavy, tightly structured album that largely abandoned their earlier progressive tendencies in favor of straightforward, muscular rock. Featuring the dual vocal attack of Gary Wright and Mike Harrison, alongside the newly recruited Mick Jones on guitar, the arrangements emphasize driving rhythms, thick Hammond organ textures, and accessible blues-rock riffing. The project successfully reestablished their commercial presence in the early 1970s hard rock scene.
