Album Notes & Community Reviews
Operating at the peak of the neo-swing movement, the North Carolina ensemble delivered a theatrical, highly energetic collection of hot jazz and calypso. The band distinguishes itself from their contemporaries by relying on original, often darkly humorous compositions and authentic, vintage-style instrumentation rather than merely covering big band standards.
