Album Notes & Community Reviews

Abandoning their earlier psychedelic pop aesthetics completely, the British quartet adopted a stripped-down, denim-clad approach to unpretentious twelve-bar rock. The sessions established the relentless, driving boogie shuffle that would become their unmistakable trademark for the next several decades. This raw, straightforward reinvention ultimately secured their immense longevity and massive dedicated fanbase.
