Celebrations

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the fourth chapter of his massive 'Convocations' series, this entirely instrumental project continues Stevens' deeply personal exploration of grief and mourning. In contrast to the abrasive noise of earlier volumes, 'Celebrations' favors gentle, shimmering synthesizer textures and ethereal, space-ambient atmospheres. It offers a meditative, quietly beautiful sonic space reflecting the slow process of emotional healing.
