Produced by The Cars' Ric Ocasek, the second album from New York's Suicide significantly polishes their terrifying early sound into surprisingly accessible, heavily rhythmic synth-pop. Featuring much cleaner drum machines and Alan Vega's crooning rockabilly vocals, the record is a deeply hypnotic, wonderfully nocturnal, and remarkably catchy milestone of early minimal wave.
