This Is My Dinner

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded largely in Copenhagen, this album sees Mark Kozelek incorporating more prominent jazz and rock influences, particularly with the inclusion of a saxophone player. The album continues his established spoken-word, stream-of-consciousness lyrical approach, with lengthy tracks detailing his travels and observations. Many songs are adaptations or covers of other works, including a song from the film 'The Partridge Family' and an AC/DC track.
