Following a shift in drumming personnel, the Finnish sextet returned with one of their most devastatingly heavy and melodic records. The album perfectly balances crushing, funeral-doom pacing with lush, gothic keyboard atmospheres and Mikko Kotamäki's versatile shifts between brutal death growls and clean crooning.
