Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived as a massively ambitious triple album, 'Songs From the North' isolates and expands upon the distinct stylistic facets of the band's melancholy sound. The first disc explores their traditional melodic doom, the second delves into austere acoustic folk, and the third descends into agonizingly slow funeral doom. This tripartite structure allows for an exhaustive, cinematic exploration of darkness, grief, and Nordic despair.
