Album Notes & Community Reviews
Documenting the band's extensive 2023-2024 world tour, 'Live Rope' captures the latest iteration of Michael Gira's ever-evolving ensemble. The release leans heavily into monolithic, trance-inducing grooves and dense sonic textures, transforming recent studio compositions into sprawling, ritualistic endurance tests. It underscores the group's continued commitment to overwhelming volume and transcendent repetition.
