Album Notes & Community Reviews
Hoest's fifth album under the Taake banner maintains the chilling, aggressively traditional riffs of the classic Norwegian black metal scene. Famously featuring a blistering banjo solo on the track 'Myr', the record balances unyielding, hateful blast beats with remarkably catchy, epic melodicism.
