Album Notes & Community Reviews

Before evolving into post-rock pioneers, Talk Talk debuted as a deeply melancholic, highly melodic new wave act in the vein of Duran Duran. 'The Party's Over' relies heavily on bright synthesizers and driving drum machines, but Mark Hollis's uniquely passionate, introspective vocal delivery hints at the remarkable depth the band would soon achieve.
