Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stripping away the dense, polyrhythmic funk explorations of their early 80s output, Talking Heads embraced a remarkably bright, straightforward pop-rock aesthetic. David Byrne's typically anxious songwriting takes a surprisingly optimistic, deeply melodic turn, backed by tight, distinctly American roots-rock instrumentation. 'Little Creatures' is a highly playful, incredibly accessible, and uplifting triumph of new wave pop.
