Serving as the final studio album to feature keyboardist Johannes Schmoelling, this concept album acts as a heavily synthesized tribute to various famous parks around the globe. 'Le parc' completely abandons the sprawling, side-long improvisations of their 1970s output in favor of concise, heavily sequenced, and highly melodic instrumental pop tracks. The opening track 'Le Parc (L.A. - Streethawk)' notably achieved brief crossover fame as the theme song for a television action series.
