Rockoon

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Transitioning further into their 'Melrose Years', the pioneering German electronic group embraced a significantly more commercial and polished sound. 'Rockoon' heavily incorporates digital synthesizers, saxophone leads, and upbeat, instrumental pop-rock structures. While alienating fans of their classic Berlin School sequencing, the slick, atmospheric release earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best New Age Album.
