Album Notes & Community Reviews
Excavated from a late-era gig mere months before their initial split, this blistering set presents Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd unleashing their famous dual-guitar interplay with unbridled intensity. Unshackled from studio perfectionism, the elongated, knotty arrangements reveal the CBGB icons as arguably the most technically gifted act of the 1970s punk explosion.
