Album Notes & Community Reviews

Greatly influenced by their newfound dedication to Transcendental Meditation, The Beach Boys abandoned heavy studio orchestration for a remarkably stripped-down, acoustic sound. 'Friends' is wonderfully peaceful and intensely mellow, weaving beautifully optimistic, highly soothing sunshine-pop harmonies into deeply meditative, surprisingly soft pastoral reflections.
