Album Notes & Community Reviews
Bridging the gap between their early surf hits and the complex orchestration of 'Pet Sounds', Brian Wilson incorporated varied instrumentation into this upbeat pop-rock session. The album features 'California Girls', marking an early, highly sophisticated application of Phil Spector's 'Wall of Sound' production techniques.
