Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final full-length from The Birthday Party is a horrifyingly intense, terrifyingly chaotic descent into musical violence. Nick Cave shrieks and yowls over Rowland S. Howard's jagged, heavily dissonant guitar feedback and a brutally pummeling rhythm section. 'Junkyard' is a deeply disturbing, wildly misanthropic, and undeniably essential pioneer of noise rock.
