Album Notes & Community Reviews

Under the guise of The Caretaker, Leyland Kirby utilizes heavily degraded 1920s dance hall records to craft an ominous work of hauntology. 'A Stairway to the Stars' manipulates these nostalgic samples into sparse, terrifying dark ambient loops. The resulting album evokes themes of memory loss and suspenseful isolation.
