Album Notes & Community Reviews
Leyland Kirby, operating as The Caretaker, continued his profound sonic exploration of memory and decay on 'Deleted Scenes / Forgotten Dreams'. The haunting, minimalist album manipulates extremely degraded samples of vintage ballroom music and choral arrangements, burying them under thick layers of analog crackle and eerie reverberation.
