Album Notes & Community Reviews

An astonishing, deeply satisfying return representing the first studio album from the legendary New Zealand indie-pop outfit in nineteen years. Frontman Martin Phillipps retains his unparalleled knack for breezy, melancholic jangle pop while addressing mature, pressing themes of environmental collapse and global politics. The pristine, sweeping production proves the enduring vitality of the foundational Dunedin Sound.
