Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released as part of John Zorn's Radical Jewish Culture series, this Polish quartet offers an ambitious, instrumental tribute to the tragic writer Bruno Schulz. The virtuosic performance pushes traditional klezmer constraints by intricately weaving in complex chamber music structures and the rhythmic tension of Astor Piazzolla's tango nuevo.
