Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Love' captures The Cult perfectly transitioning from atmospheric gothic rock into a muscular, highly melodic, and distinctly psychedelic hard rock hybrid. Billy Duffy's soaring, delay-drenched guitar riffs provide massive, arena-ready anthems to support Ian Astbury's incredibly passionate, mystical vocal delivery. The album is a deeply romantic, energetic, and majestic triumph of British post-punk.
