Album Notes & Community Reviews
Pushing further beyond their punk roots, The Damned embraced 60s psychedelia, lush keyboards, and incredibly melodic new wave on 'Strawberries'. Featuring prominent harpsichords and deeply passionate, occasionally political lyricism, the album is a highly energetic, wonderfully playful, and surprisingly sophisticated triumph of British post-punk.
