Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as a fluid, collaborative supergroup led by drummer Anton Fier, this sophomore release saw the project pivot sharply from no wave improvisation into accessible alternative rock. 'Visions of Excess' features a star-studded revolving door of vocalists, most notably including R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe and Public Image Ltd.'s John Lydon. The resulting album acts as a polished, highly eclectic snapshot of the mid-80s American underground elite.
