Album Notes & Community Reviews

Further defining their signature chamber-jazz aesthetic, the ensemble juxtaposes classical counterpoint with deeply swinging blues phrasing. The crystalline vibraphone tones interplay seamlessly with reserved yet driving piano lines, establishing a refined acoustic template. The session helped legitimize jazz within traditional concert hall environments by emphasizing meticulous formal structures.
