Aether

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Consisting of a single, continuous hour-long improvisation, 'Aether' captures the Australian jazz trio at their most hypnotic and understated. The piece slowly builds and decays around delicate piano motifs, shimmering cymbals, and a pulsing, repetitive upright bass line, gradually introducing subtle electronic elements. It serves as a masterclass in acoustic minimalism, rewarding deep, patient listening with profound meditative soundscapes.
