Album Notes & Community Reviews

As their second studio full-length, 'Out of the Shadows' cemented The Shadows' position as Britain's premier instrumental rock act prior to the British Invasion. Hank Marvin's distinctive, echo-drenched guitar tone heavily informed the developing surf rock movement globally. The LP features a tight, melodic precision that influenced a generation of British guitarists.
