Album Notes & Community Reviews

Typically known for satirical, abrasive house music, Matmos's Drew Daniel pivots sharply into deeply sincere, meditative ambient techno. Conceived as a direct emotional response to the rise of global fascism and political anxiety, the record relies on choral vocal samples and incredibly patient, hypnotic minimalism. It functions as a conscious effort to manifest joy and healing through sound.
