Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album from the Philadelphia rock band introduces Adam Granduciel and Kurt Vile's unique synthesis of heartland rock and hazy psychedelia. Blending Springsteen-esque classic rock melodies with swirling tape delay and synthesizer washes, the record possesses a ragged, driving energy. It is the only album to feature Vile before his departure to focus on a highly successful solo career.
