Album Notes & Community Reviews

Masterminded by 4AD founder Ivo Watts-Russell, this sprawling, intensely atmospheric project features a revolving cast of musicians performing heavily orchestrated covers and instrumental interludes. The double album seamlessly weaves gothic rock textures, lush string arrangements, and breathy, ethereal vocals into a deeply cohesive, nocturnal mood piece. It is a surreal, melancholic triumph of the dream pop genre.
