Album Notes & Community Reviews

Officially breaking the Memphis hip-hop sound into mainstream commercial dominance, this platinum-selling album defined the emergence of the crunk era. DJ Paul and Juicy J's dark, aggressive, club-rattling production provides a perfect backdrop for the group's relentless, horrorcore-tinged street narratives, most notably on the iconic single 'Sippin' on Some Syrup'.
