Album Notes & Community Reviews
The highly acclaimed Canadian sound artist pivots away from the heavy, doom-laden distortion of 'Virgins' toward a lighter, more choral-focused electronic aesthetic. The album heavily features vocals composed by the late J贸hann J贸hannsson, which are then violently processed, pitch-shifted, and buried within bright, glitching digital tapestries. It serves as a beautiful, albeit deeply abstract, exploration of post-human choral music.
