Album Notes & Community Reviews

Arriving as their major independent label debut, the Columbus, Ohio trio refuses to polish their notoriously blown-out, cassette-recorder aesthetic. The incredibly brief tracks bury sweet, boy-girl indie pop melodies underneath terrifying levels of tape hiss and screeching amplifier distortion. It stands as an essential, polarizing masterpiece of the late-2000s 'shitgaze' and extreme lo-fi revivals.
