Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stripping back the electric instrumentation of their previous outings, the pioneering Tuareg collective retreated to the Algerian desert to record an intimate, predominantly acoustic session. 'Tassili' features subtle collaborations with Western musicians like Nels Cline and Tunde Adebimpe, bridging Saharan traditional styles with American folk sensibilities.
