Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded on a four-track cassette, this underground tape is a foundational document of the Memphis rap sound, characterized by its lo-fi production, rapid-fire flows, and extremely dark lyrical content. Wright's DIY approach to distribution and menacing, sample-heavy beats proved highly influential on the later development of trap and phonk music.
