Biography
Tommy Wright III, born in Memphis in 1976, is a rapper and producer whose self-released 1990s tapes on #Street Smart Records#, above all 'On the Run', made him a pioneer of Memphis rap. As leader of *Ten Wanted Men*, he paired rapid-fire rhymes with stark, self-produced beats that anticipated trap music by a decade. His influence runs through Memphis rap to this day.
