Album Notes & Community Reviews
A powerful and provocative concept album, 'Strange Little Girls' is comprised entirely of cover versions of songs written and originally performed by men. Tori Amos masterfully reinterprets tracks by artists like Eminem, The Stranglers, and Slayer, inhabiting them from a female perspective to subvert and explore their lyrical themes of violence and misogyny. It's a bold and eclectic work that showcases her unparalleled interpretive skills.
