Sub Rosa in Æternum

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Swedish heavy metal chameleons complete their full transition away from extreme metal, diving headfirst into the sleek, deeply melodic realms of 1980s gothic rock. Retaining their signature occult atmosphere and searing twin-guitar harmonies, the record is driven by highly atmospheric post-punk basslines and theatrical, cleanly sung vocals. It is a wonderfully dark, undeniably catchy reinvention of their distinct brand of heavy gloom.
