Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut album by the Finnish ensemble, 'Tammikuinen Tammela' fuses jazz harmony with progressive rock structure, its acoustic instrumentation evoking the cold, solitary winters its title invokes. Engineered by M氓ns Groundstroem, it established the group's chamber-like approach to jazz-rock, developed further on 'Niittoaika' and 'Uoma'.
