Album Notes & Community Reviews
Warren Zevon perfected his brilliantly cynical, uniquely literary brand of Los Angeles rock on his breakthrough third album. 'Excitable Boy' pairs pristine, highly melodic piano-rock arrangements with profoundly dark, wonderfully sarcastic storytelling, delivering deeply humorous, deadpan character studies of mercenaries, psychopaths, and geopolitical chaos.
