I Sing the Body Electric

by Weather Report

I Sing the Body Electric cover art

Borrowing its title from both Walt Whitman and Ray Bradbury, Weather Report's sophomore effort is a startlingly experimental, highly atmospheric jazz-rock achievement. Featuring a massive, wildly chaotic live suite on its B-side, 'I Sing the Body Electric' balances intensely anxious, fiercely complex avant-garde improvisations with wonderfully surreal, deeply technical space-fusion.
