Released as a surprise, this self-titled record is Weezer's first covers album. The project was spurred by a successful online fan campaign demanding the band cover the song 'Africa' by Toto, which became their biggest chart hit in years. The album features faithful renditions of pop and rock hits from the 1980s and beyond, including songs by Tears for Fears, Eurythmics, and Black Sabbath.
